I hate those posts that say, if I was famous I would give away all my money to random people who need it, blah blah blah. Grow up and realize the world is full of challenges and obstacles. Everything cannot be handed to you just because it’s hard or you feel like you somehow deserve or are entitled to it.
You have student loans? Well you should have done better in school, applied for more scholarships, not gone to college, etc. You don’t have to go to college, especially these days when most college graduates aren’t doing any better than the people who are working right out of high school.
Of course in a perfect world it would be amazing to not have these problems. So that people with a lot of money wouldn’t have to help out those less fortunate. Am I saying that charity or things like that are wrong? No. I think it’s great, but there aren’t charities for students in debt for a reason. You chose to put yourself in debt. You knew exactly the cost of going to college. Just because you regret the choice don’t bash the college system for being fucked up. You can’t drive a car that needs an oil change then get mad when the engine blows up.
This kind of turned into a rant on college but the original point is just that people need to stop living in these worlds where people hand stuff to them. Real life requires hard work. You fail to pay your bills, oh it’s okay here’s some money, I have plenty I’m famous. Now everyone who needs bills paid is knocking on my door. Now the person I gave money to thinks why should he keep working when I am going to give him money anyway. Why should my hard work go towards the benefit of others who refuse to work or make poor financial choices?
